Founding member Munetaka Higuchi has laid down his sticks as the drummer of Loudness and sadly, has departed this mortal coil for which he no longer has use.

Munetaka died at 10:44 AM, November 30, 2008 from liver cancer.
Though he is gone, his great body of drum work will remain with us forever and his soaring spirit lives on as inspiration to rock music fans everywhere.
